Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and operate slitting lines, ensuring quality and adherence to safety and production instructions. You will record outputs, perform yardage checks, and assist with change-overs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, following procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts using SAP data entry and S4 concepts.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules and basic math.
• Ability to read simple measurements, gauges and meters.
• Proficient in computer use and data entry.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates slitter according to established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Read tags and ensure correct materials are used for quality.
• Record output results and perform yardage checks.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts (S4) and data-entry in SAP.
