Job summary

Sleep Management, LLC dba Viemed is seeking a Patient Coordinator (Sleep Therapy) in Lafayette, LA to manage scheduling of CPAP equipment setups and coordinate care with physicians and healthcare teams. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1–3 years administrative and clinical office experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule CPAP/AutoPAP/BiPAP equipment setups for patients and explain clinical benefits and risks.
• Maintain contact with physicians and other health care professionals involved in home respiratory therapy.
• Maintain and organize clinical records, charts, progress notes, and equipment/maintenance records.
• Keep inventory of Sleep Management/VieMed assets and supplies updated.
• Update demographic information when changes occur.
• Provide orientation and training to new staff or technicians.
• Support billing and documentation to satisfy third-party payor guidelines and coordinate with office staff.
• Promote home respiratory therapy services to referral sources and partners.
• Be available for patient contact and responsive to patient needs.
• Collaborate with RTs, PCCs, and other departments to complete tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
