Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a Sleep Lab Technician to perform comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies under supervision. The role includes polysomnography, PAP titration, patient education, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced lab setting.

Minimum 1+ year polysomnography experience, high school diploma or GED/HSED, and eligibility for BLS, RPSGT, ABSM, and RRT-SDS certifications are required. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this part-time position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of ASTEP sleep education program required.
• 1+ year of polysomnographic technician experience required.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, provide diagnostic and treatment procedures in the Sleep Lab.
• Perform polysomnograms, diagnostics, PAP titration and monitoring.
• Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients and families.
• Safely maintain/operate sleep lab equipment and manage supplies.
