Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Sleep Technician (Polysom Tech) to perform polysomnography and related sleep lab procedures under supervision at the Milwaukee Hospital. The role includes diagnostic testing, PAP titration, equipment setup, patient instruction, and data scoring in accordance with lab standards.

Evening/night shifts (7pm–7am) are required for a 0.9 FTE position; BLS certification is required, and eligibility for ASTEP program enrollment with within-6-month completion is expected,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASTEP or similar sleep education program enrollment required, completed within 6 months of hire.
• RPSGT certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within 24 months of hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsabilités

• Diagnostics such as polysomnograms and related tracings.
• Titration and monitoring of positive airway pressure therapy.
• PAP mask fitting and patient instructions before/after testing.
• Download, analyze, and score data per lab standards.
• Maintain sleep lab equipment and inventory; assist as needed.

ASTEP sleep education program enrollment

RPSGT credential preferred
