Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a polysomnographic technician for the Sleep Lab at Milwaukee Hospital. You will perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services, and educate patients under the direction of the Ambulatory Manager and Medical Director.

The role requires 1+ year of polysomnographic experience, completion of ASTEP sleep education, and relevant certifications (BLS, RPSGT, ABSM or RRT-SDS). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/HSED required.
• Completion of sleep education program such as ASTEP required.
• 1+ year of experience in a polysomnographic technician role required.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnograms and related diagnostics under supervision.
• Titrate and monitor PAP therapy and fit PAP masks.
• Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients and families.
• Maintain sleep lab equipment and inventory; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record, analyze, and score data per AASM standards and coordinate with on-call physician.
