Job summary

Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee is seeking a Polysom Technician IV - RCP for night shifts in the Sleep Lab. Under the Ambulatory Manager and Medical Director, you will perform polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services, and provide patient care and education.

The role requires Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure, BLS/CPR, and either RPSGT or NBRC credentials; prior polysomnography and respiratory therapy experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure is required; CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers is required; RPSGT or NBRC credentials required or RRT credential accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnograms, Cardio-pulmonary tracings, and other sleep diagnostic tests.
• Titrate and monitor PAP therapy and fit PAP masks.
• Score and download data per AASM lab standards; communicate with on-call physician as needed.
• Maintain sleep lab equipment and inventory; ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
