Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Sleep Medicine care provider to coordinate patient care, act as liaison among providers, patients and equipment suppliers, and help implement care standards. Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• BLS certification and one of RPSGT, REEGT, RRT or CRT required
• CCSH certification preferred
• 1 year experience in Sleep Lab, Respiratory Department or DME
• Two years experience in polysomnograms or home sleep testing preferred

Responsibilities

• Exhibits knowledge and skills for care of patients in Sleep Medicine
• Acts as liaison between healthcare providers, patients and Sleep Lab equipment suppliers
• Collaborates with a multifaceted team to manage patient care and prescribed treatments
• Develops and implements standards to enhance quality of care
• Provides excellent communication and customer service to patients
• Provide backup for front office tasks and the home sleep testing program
