Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care System is seeking a Sleep Lab Manager to oversee the daily operations of the sleep lab and EEG services. You will work with the Sleep Center Medical Director and Sr.

Director of Ancillary Services to ensure high-quality testing and compliance with AASM and ABRET standards. The role emphasizes staff oversight, training, budgeting, quality improvement, and creating a positive environment that supports professional growth and retention.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate’s degree in sciences, healthcare or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or master's in health care or business administration.
• Credentials required: RPSGT/RST/CRT-SDS/RRT-SDS or CPSGT within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years of management or leadership experience required.
• Preferred: 5 years in health care management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the sleep lab and EEG services.
• Supervise staff, provide training, and ensure staffing adequacy.
• Ensure compliance with AASM, ABRET, and regulatory standards.
• Focus on service excellence, budgeting, and quality improvement.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and PHI security.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and report status to leadership.
• Foster professional growth and a positive work environment.
