The role emphasizes patient safety, equipment setup, and ongoing education for patients undergoing home and in-lab sleep studies.

Qualifications

• Set up and prepare patients for sleep studies per AASM standards.
• Maintain and sanitize sleep lab equipment.
• Educate patients on home and in-lab sleep studies and expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic care.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare patients for sleep studies, ensuring proper application of electrodes and monitoring devices.
• Maintain and clean sleep lab equipment following safety and infection-control guidelines.
• Provide education to patients on use of sleep testing equipment and how studies are conducted.
• Educate patients on home and in-lab sleep studies, procedures, duration, and expectations.
• Assist with scoring sleep studies and creating reports for physician review.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with sleep technology practices.
