Job summary

Mattress Firm is seeking a Sleep Expert to elevate the in-store experience by acting as a trusted authority and presenting best-in-class products. You will execute selling programs with digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.

You will build relationships, share product knowledge, drive sales performance and KPIs, and maintain customer relationships after purchase. The role requires lifting 50+ pounds and a commitment to inclusive, customer-centered service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to explain product features clearly.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs and targets.
• Ability to work with digital selling tools and support omnichannel experiences.
• Comfort with lifting 50+ pounds and physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where the customer is the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and KPIs while demonstrating company values and supporting initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (delivery reminders, issue resolution).
• Monitor competitor activity and adapt in-store messaging accordingly.
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and sales.
