Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Systems Engineer, SLED with cyber security and IC S/OT expertise to support Fortinet's SLED business unit, working closely with District Sales teams on pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales.

You will own the technical relationship, deliver custom demos, drive PoC deployments, and collaborate with Account Executives to design winning solutions for complex client needs. Travel up to 70% to engage with clients on-site and at events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in the Cybersecurity industry with heavy IC S/OT experience.
• SLED market mastery and familiarity with government procurement cycles.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing Pre-Sales Engineering or technical consulting role.

Responsibilities

• Own the Technical Relationship: Bridge technical needs and business outcomes.
• Consultative Approach: Provide expert-level recommendations and guidance.
• Custom Demos: Craft and present high-impact product demos.
• Event Support: Represent Fortinet at industry events and trade shows.
• Sales Partnership: Design winning solutions with Account Executives.
• PoC Mastery: Lead Proof of Concept deployments from setup to troubleshooting.
• RFP Leadership: Produce precise, technical content for inbound queries and proposals.
