Oracle is seeking a high-performing Data Platform Account Executive to drive strategic sales to California state agencies, departments, and affiliated organizations. You will lead executive-level discussions on data modernization, analytics, AI, and multi-cloud solutions, partnering with CIOs and IT leaders to accelerate digital government initiatives.

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
Experience selling Data Platform, Database, Analytics, AI, Cloud Infra, SaaS, or PaaS.
Experience selling into State & Local Government or public sector.
Experience with California state agencies procurement processes.
Proven track record of exceeding quota and closing complex opportunities.
Understanding of modern data architectures, analytics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and cloud.
Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong prospecting, territory planning, executive communication, and account management.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow strategic relationships with State of California agencies.
Drive sales of Oracle's Data Platform, Analytics, AI, and Cloud solutions.
Lead executive discussions on data modernization, AI adoption, and cybersecurity.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with statewide priorities.
Forecast accurately and close complex enterprise opportunities.
Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure and Solution Engineering teams to deliver success.
Navigate public sector procurement processes and statewide contracts.
