Job summary

CUNY School of Professional Studies in New York is seeking a Slate Enrollment Communications Specialist (Non-Teaching Adjunct Level 2) to plan, write, build, test, deploy, and optimize enrollment communications. You will partner with Admissions, Financial Aid, Marketing, and Events to deliver clear, student-centered messages across the enrollment funnel.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Director of Admissions, this role combines strong communications judgment with hands-on Slate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Four or more years in higher education enrollment communications or related areas.
• Hands-on Slate CRM experience—building and deploying communications, queries and workflows.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities for student-centered content.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proficient in HTML/CSS for troubleshooting formatting in digital comms.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops, writes, edits, builds, and deploys enrollment communications for multiple audiences.
• Serves as primary writer and builder for undergraduate and graduate admissions in Slate.
• Creates communication plans from inquiry through enrollment and personalizes journeys.
• Maintains enrollment communications calendar with timelines, testing, and deployment.
• Ensures content is clear, accurate, and aligned with brand and enrollment priorities.
• Collaborates with Admissions, Financial Aid, Marketing, and Events to coordinate messaging.
• Builds Slate forms, landing pages, queries, reports, and automated workflows.
