Job summary

SP Plus Corporation in Fort Myers is seeking a part-time Curbside Check-in Agent (Skycap) to assist travelers at the airport curbside. The role involves checking in passengers, issuing boarding passes, tagging bags, and delivering friendly service in outdoor conditions.

Starting pay is $11.00 per hour plus tips with early shifts, weekend availability, and airline compliance training to be completed promptly. Prior customer service is preferred; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Early morning shift availability.
• 6+ months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred.
• Data entry and/or computer experience preferred.
• Clear communication with guests and clients.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions.
• Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment background screening.
• Pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with curbside check-in.
• Help guests check in baggage and verify flight itineraries.
• Input guest information for enrollment.
• Charge for bags and process check-in per airline rules.
• Weigh bags and collect overweight fees.
• Tag luggage with destination tags.
• Provide boarding passes, luggage tickets, and receipts.
• Secure luggage after processing.
• Maintain professional, friendly communication.
• Organize and stock the concierge desk.
• Follow client guidelines and service values.
• Handle payments from guests.
• Answer phones and guest questions.
• Perform basic arithmetic.
