Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Skip Trace Coordinator to locate client debtors and collateral using online resources and phone outreach, reporting to the Skip Trace Manager. The role emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and timely production in both team and independent work settings.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1–3 years of skip trace or repossession experience; strong organizational, research, and compliance knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must-Have: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of skip trace experience preferred.
• 1–3 years in repossession or collections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer skip trace methods to locate debtors and collateral.
• Assist daily skip trace activities per department standards.
• Maintain inventory of accounts and provide updates to clients and PAR management.
• Maintain vendor contracts and relationships; review vendor effectiveness.
• Produce daily production reports as instructed by management.
• Build relationships with recovery vendors and maintain professional communication.
