DABS, Inc. is hiring a Skills Instructor to work with adults with developmental disabilities, helping them build essential employment, volunteering, and education skills for greater independence.

You will lead community activities, track progress, and collaborate with a team to provide holistic support while complying with safety and confidentiality standards. Training is provided as needed.

Competenze

• Caring heart and commitment to dignity and independence.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance.
• Willingness to undergo state and federal fingerprint background check.
• CPR certification and TB test (training available if needed).
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide person-centered instruction through planned community activities.
• Support access to community resources, plan engaging activities and strengthen skills.
• Accompany individuals on community outings for appointments, errands, or leisure.
• Record progress with accurate, concise case notes.
