DABS, Inc. is hiring a Skills Instructor to work with adults with developmental disabilities, helping them build essential skills for employment, volunteering, education, and community participation to gain independence. Responsibilities include leading person-centered activities, arranging community outings, documenting progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires CPR, TB test, driver’s license, and background checks. Training provided.

Qualificações

• Requires CPR certification and a recent TB test.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and insurance.
• Willingness to undergo state and federal fingerprint background checks.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Provide person-centered instruction through planned community activities.
• Support individuals in accessing community resources and planning activities.
• Take individuals on community outings for appointments or activities.
• Track and document progress with accurate case notes.
• Redirect challenging behaviors and facilitate positive resolutions.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive support.
