Job summary

Westerman, Inc. is seeking a Welder to operate advanced welding equipment and repair defective products to high quality standards. The role requires reading blueprints and weld symbols, following procedures, and maintaining safe, efficient production throughout a shift.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of welding experience, basic safety training, and the ability to read measurements and wire gauges. Sign-on bonus offered; position is on-site at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience and ability to read weld symbols.
• Ability to read blueprints and work orders, and interpret measurements.
• Basic safety training and adherence to quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate advanced welding equipment to produce quality parts.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and adjust settings to maintain production efficiency.
• Follow safety policies and document maintenance and downtime as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve procedures and reduce scrap.
