Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings meet cleanliness, safety, and functional standards across grounds, amenities, and common areas. The role involves handling work orders, preventative maintenance, and property inspections within a dynamic leasing environment.

You will perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage vendor coordination, and document all activities, contributing to cost control and efficient property operations.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) for refrigerant handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders for resident requests and preventative maintenance per policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Complete make-ready process: pre-move-in inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting work.
• Access materials and track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean, paint curbs/signage as needed.
• Contribute to cost control by fixing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
