Utility Lines Construction Services is seeking an experienced Overhead Distribution A Lineperson in North Carolina to install and maintain overhead distribution and transmission systems, including poles, cables, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment. You will perform construction, maintenance, and repair on energized and de-energized lines, following all safety rules.

The role requires knowledge of heavy equipment, ability to climb structures, and a minimum of 4 years of electrical

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of electrical linework experience.
• Must be able to climb structures and operate heavy equipment.
• Experience with energized high-voltage systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Setting of poles and anchors. Stringing overhead wire.
• Installing transformers, lightening arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches, and switchgear.
• Performing new construction, maintenance, or repair work on energized and de-energized overhead lines with safety rules.
• Troubleshooting issues with primary and secondary systems.
• Replacing cutout fuses and clearing faulted circuits and systems.
• Ensure daily testing and inspection of tools and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Report injuries, near misses and health concerns to Foreperson.
• Other duties related to installation of overhead power supply.
• All other duties as required by Supervisors.
