Job summary

Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Underground Distribution Lineperson in Statesville, NC to install and repair underground distribution and transmission systems, including poles and cables. Responsibilities include servicing outages, operating equipment, and performing routine maintenance while adhering to safety requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical line construction, the ability to pass training, and a preference for a CDL within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of electrical power line construction experience.
• Able to provide proof of work experience, schooling, and any certifications obtained during your career.
• CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain a valid CDL within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists with installation, operation, maintenance and repair of underground electrical power lines and systems.
• Assists in construction, operation, maintenance, and repair of distribution utility power lines.
• Assists with service calls concerning power outages and electrical problems.
• Receives training and must pass ongoing training to advance to higher skill levels.
• Operates motorized equipment and hand tools; performs routine maintenance on electrical equipment and shop areas.
