Utility Lines Construction Services, Inc. is seeking an Overhead Distribution Journeyman Lineperson in Statesville, NC. You will work from an aerial device to install and repair overhead distribution lines and equipment, with 10-hour workdays and opportunities for overtime.

You will perform primary/secondary connections, assist with pole replacements, and coordinate with public/property owners while following regional safety policies and training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work at heights, with physical dexterity and strength.
• Willing to travel out of state for emergency storm work.

Aufgaben

• Work from aerial device installing and repairing overhead distribution lines and equipment.
• Excavate to assist in installation of structures or cables per contract specs.
• Make primary connections and terminations.
• Assist with assembling materials on the ground for installation.
• Make secondary connections at transformers.
• Assist with pulling in new wire and sagging.
• Assist with replacing and setting new poles.
• Maintain safe job site conditions and communicate work to public/private property owners.
• Operate tools such as wrenches, hammers, drills, come-along, jackhammer, and power tamp.
