Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented, classically trained Cook to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare nutritious meals, plate with care, and collaborate with the Dietary Manager to ensure smooth operation during their absence.

This full-time role emphasizes high-volume cooking, strict sanitation, and inventory control, with opportunities to participate in special events and menu development.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities or healthcare foodservice preferred.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and quality plating standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Serve as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain high sanitation standards in the kitchen and with equipment before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and support recipe development and compliance.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
