The role requires ServSafe and Allergen certifications within six months, a high school diploma, and English proficiency. The position is part-time with rotating day shifts and occasional holidays.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of supervisory food service experience in healthcare or similar.
• ServSafe and Allergen certifications within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen operations in the absence of the Food Service Director/Executive Chef.
• Review menu and estimate food requirements.
• Coordinate with dietitian and departments to implement diets.
• Prepare and serve meals according to recipes and diets.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist in establishing production lines.
• Seek improvements and new food practices.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and cleanliness of work areas.
• Protect resident/patient confidentiality and report concerns.
• Demonstrate patience and a positive attitude with residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
