Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Cook for a Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on preparing nutritious meals, maintaining high sanitation standards, and supporting the Dietary Manager in their absence.

Ideal candidates will be classically trained, experienced in high-volume operations, and able to handle special requests for events. Full-time benefits include PTO and insurance coverage, with availability required every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Ability to consistently prepare meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Strong focus on cleanliness and sanitation in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for an attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure seamless meal prep.
• Maintain sanitation standards for kitchen and equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
