Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for a nursing facility. The role requires preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following standardized recipes, and presenting dishes attractively.

You will support the Dietary Manager, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help manage inventory and recipe development. Flexible for special events and weekend shifts at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
