Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions, at Avalon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, seeks a skilled Cook to join our team in a fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare nutritious meals following standardized recipes and present dishes with care.

This role requires high-volume cooking expertise, strict sanitation, and the ability to support the Dietary Manager when needed. Full-time benefits include PTO and insurance; weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume operations.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control.
• Willingness to work every other weekend as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and cook meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish dishes to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager during absences and maintain sanitation.
• Manage inventory and assist with recipe development and procurement.
• Handle special events and last-minute requests.
