Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions seeks a talented Dietary Cook for a nursing facility, experienced in high-volume culinary operations and prepared to work every other weekend. The role focuses on accurate meal preparation, portioning, and plating for residents.

You will support the Dietary Manager during absences, maintain sanitation standards, and assist with inventory and recipe management to deliver nourishing meals in a respectful, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Knowledge of standardized recipes and portion control.
• Ability to adapt menus for resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner following recipes.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure an attractive presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager during their absence to maintain meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and operate equipment safely.
• Manage inventory, rotation, and assist with recipe development.
• Handle last-minute requests for special events and facility functions.
