Responsibilities include stock, price, and merchandize meat items, rotate stock, and assist with special customer requests while maintaining safety and quality standards. Must have prior meat department experience and a high school diploma or GED.

• No specific software or tools required beyond department equipment.

Responsibilities

• Locate appropriate meat portions in the walk-in freezer/refrigerator and move to the cutting room.
• Use knives and band saw to prepare specific meat cuts as ordered.
• Set machine for proper pricing and labeling of meat to be wrapped.
• Arrange packages on display and remove out-of-date or damaged products.
