Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Howell Township, New Jersey, seeks a dedicated Meat Cutter to join our world‑class team. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts, while upholding safety and quality standards for our Members.

Responsibilities include assisting Members with recommendations, preparing custom cuts, maintaining clean work areas, stocking cases, inspecting deliveries, and following club policies.

Qualifications

• Meat cutting experience required.
• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages members, answers questions about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company standards.
• Rotates meats and maintains inventory levels.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Receives and inspects meat deliveries.
