Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Ocean Township, NJ, seeks a Meat Department Team Member to join our fresh/meat operations. You’ll cut, wrap, label, and merchandise meat; maintain sanitation and inventory; assist members with questions and special cuts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Members by recommending cuts of meat and answering questions.
• Cut, grind, and wrap meat to company standards; prepare special cuts as requested.
• Rotate and stock meat, seafood, cheeses, and prepared foods; maintain sanitation and safety.
