Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Howell Township, New Jersey, is hiring for a Meat Department team member who will receive, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and prepared meats. You will ensure quality, safety, and presentation in accordance with club standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program or apprenticeship is required.
• Previous meat cutting experience is required.
• Knowledge of automatic or hand wrapping machines is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Members and advise on meat selections.
• Cut, grind, wrap, weight, and label meat products to standard.
• Maintain sanitation and temperature controls in the meat department.
• Ensure accurate signage and attractive product displays.
• Rotate stock and monitor inventory to avoid waste.
