A maintenance technician position for Avenue5 Residential at Elwood is available, offering a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM with on-call duties. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of property management experience, with EPA/HVC certifications or a CPO license preferred.

You’ll perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC, ensuring safety and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of property management experience preferred.
• EPA or HVAC certifications are a plus.
• CPO license preferred.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, carpentry and HVAC repairs as directed.
• Maintain property grounds, safety and curb appeal to meet company standards.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner and ensure resident satisfaction.
• Assist with on-call/after-hours maintenance emergencies and safety protocols.
• Inspect property facilities and coordinate with leadership on issues requiring maintenance or replacement.
• Promote professional interactions with residents and other properties.
