Job summary

The Buona Companies is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, following provided recipes and keeping a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook to order while upholding Buona standards.

Responsibilities include learning multiple positions, following recipes, maintaining portion control, and ensuring food quality for guests. Competitive hourly wages with tips, and benefits such as PTO, Next Day Pay, and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Must work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep.
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping, dicing, cutting and slicing.
• Maintain portion control and monitor food levels on the line.
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards.
• Ensure all food is made properly before serving to guests.
• Restock food line and assist on the line as needed.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food and cleanliness.
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders.
• Handle waste according to established procedures.
• Interact with guests across dine-in, takeout, or drive-thru.
