Buona is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items to our high-quality standards while maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace. You will cook food to order by following provided recipes and uphold the Buona standard.

Responsibilities include learning station duties across Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep; following recipes; portion control; restocking; health and safety compliance; and fast, accurate order fulfillment for dine-in, takeout or drive-thru.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Food Handler certificate.
• Able to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn the following positions: Beef, Pizza, Broiler, Cafe/Salads & Prep
• Follow recipes and food preparation processes such as cooking, seasoning, grilling, chopping
• Maintain appropriate portion control and monitoring food levels on the line
• Prepare quality food that meets Buona standards
• Ensure all food is being made properly before serving
• Restock food line
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety
• Be speedy and accurate in fulfilling orders
• Handle raw and finished waste according to procedures
• Act with urgency with guests (dine-in, takeout, drive-thru)
• Wash cookware and utensils and clean equipment
• Clean and sanitize as needed
• Other duties as assigned
