Job summary

The HMSHost team in the Dallas area is seeking a Cook C to prepare foods across multiple stations and deliver high-quality service to guests. This non-exempt role requires attention to recipes, timing, and food safety while contributing to a fast-paced dining environment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of cooking experience in high-volume settings, familiar with HACCP standards, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1 year cooking experience in a high-volume casual dining environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards.
• Experience with soups, sauté, broiler, fry and pantry operations.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions and recipes.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare foods across Fry, Griddle, Pantry, and eggs stations.
• Communicate ticket times and issues to managers and servers as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations and equipment.
• Practice safe food handling and HACCP-compliant procedures.
• Assist with inventory, portioning and temperature checks as required.
