Tecomet in Massachusetts is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience. You will operate and set up CNC machines, maintain quality and safety standards, and keep precise records while following Tecomet's continuous improvement culture.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of CNC machining experience; an associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship is preferred. Strong math, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring equipment and interpreting readings.
• Perform routine maintenance per daily machine checklist and follow PM schedule.
• Perform hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safe working practices and report Safety, Health & Environmental issues.
• Achieve productivity targets and identify ways to improve productivity.
• Record all activities in the job tracking system.
• Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Identify and elevate manufacturing issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Perform other duties or special projects as required.
