Job summary

Tecomet, located in Massachusetts, seeks a 2nd or 3rd shift CNC Machinist with 3+ years of experience to produce machined parts while upholding strict quality and safety standards. You will operate CNC machines, set up tooling, and maintain equipment within GMP/GDP guidelines.

You will perform close tolerance machining on various metals, record readouts, and help drive continuous improvement. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and collaboration within a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Ability to operate, set up and maintain a CNC machine.
• Strong math skills including measuring and keeping records.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within tolerances following instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of various parts and metals.
• Change dull tooling and make minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality with OOQ standards and measurement equipment readings.
• Perform routine PM and hand finishing.
• Follow GMP/GDP and complete job routers/cards.
• Maintain safety and report safety/Environmental issues.
• Meet productivity targets and seek productivity improvements.
• Record activities on the job tracking system.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities.
• Identify and elevate manufacturing issues as needed.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
