Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience to produce machined parts by operating CNC machines, maintaining quality, safety standards, and keeping records.

You will set up machines, perform tool changes, read engineering drawings, and use measuring equipment to ensure tolerances. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, GMP/GDP practices, and teamwork in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• UK GCSE/NVQ Math and English desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within tolerances per work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC work including progressive machining of various parts and metals.
• Change tooling and adjust offsets for wear.
• Ensure quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule; document activity.
• Follow GMP/GDP practices; complete routers/cards.
• Maintain 5S/housekeeping; identify and support improvements.
• Record activities in the job tracking system; work with supervisor on issues.
