Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II for 2nd or 3rd shift with 3+ years of experience. You will operate CNC machines, set up parts, and maintain quality and safety standards in a precision manufacturing environment.

You will work with inspection tools to ensure tolerance, perform routine PMs, document readings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while meeting production targets. Strong math skills, attention to detail, and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.
• GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only).

Responsibilities

• Operate and Set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and diagrams.
• Perform difficult CNC machining including progressive machining of various parts and metals with close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling and minor offsets for wear.
• Ensure product quality using OOQ standards and measuring equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance per PM schedule and maintain 5S standards.
