Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate and set up CNC machines on the 2nd or 3rd shift in Massachusetts, producing precision parts according to engineering drawings while maintaining safety and quality standards.

With 3+ years of CNC machining experience, you will perform tool changes, monitor tolerances with appropriate measuring tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in a GMP/GDP environment and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC Machining experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling & Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set-up CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and drawings.
• Perform difficult CNC Machinist work including progressive machining of a variety of parts and different metals with very close tolerances.
• Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments for tooling wear.
• Ensure product quality by using OOQ standards and measuring equipment; interpret readings.
