Job summary

Evergreen Dining LLC seeks a Bartender to craft drinks, take accurate orders, restock the bar, and ensure a clean, safe work area. You will verify guest IDs, handle cash, and follow policies on responsible alcohol service. The position emphasizes guest satisfaction and upholding local liquor laws.

You will use the POS system, describe menu items, upsell beverages, and support growth in beverage sales while maintaining efficiency and accuracy during peak times.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience preferred or Evergreen Dining LLC restaurant serving experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be certified in responsible service of alcohol training approved by state regulatory agency.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional Guest service by being efficient, confident, personable, and an expert on all things beverage.
• Prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages for Guests per Evergreen Dining LLC guidelines including utilizing proper glassware and garnish.
• Strong knowledge of common drink recipes and techniques.
• Upholds and enforces state and local liquor laws and possess the ability to refuse service when necessary.
• Ability to describe and recommend various types of wine and beer.
• Suggestively sells to each bar Guest and is the SME on alcohol for the restaurant.
