Job summary

The Boyd Group in Barboursville, WV is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using a range of shop tools to meet our speed and quality standards.

Successful candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and repair work to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles using shop tools.
• Realign chassis and frames for structural repairs.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repaint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
