Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by accurately repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with KPI targets and acting as a Brand Ambassador for the company.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and either completed technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. A strong knowledge of shop tools and repair methods is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of repair methods and the tools used in the trade.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently in daily work.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates using proper tools.
• Repair dents, apply fillers, and restore panels as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and verify quality.
• Ensure safe completion of tasks and inspect completed vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within shop operations.
