Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Bristol, VA. You will repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassembling and reassembling parts while ensuring fast, high-quality customer service and adherence to company standards.

You will work with cutting tools, welders, and paint equipment to restore vehicles and meet KPI targets. High school diploma or equivalent and apprentice/technical training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Candidates must understand vehicle body repair methods and use of common tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents with filler as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts, repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
