Job summary

Badger Meter in Iowa is seeking an experienced Assembler II to assemble parts per Work Instructions and Drawings, while potentially rotating through several assembly tasks across the facility.

You will use basic hand, battery, electric and pneumatic tools, follow customer specifications, and contribute to safety, quality, and cost improvements in a lean environment. Training others is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Understand gluing and centering to specific tolerances for multiple areas/products.
• Ability to use function generators and multimeter test equipment when applicable.
• Basic proficiency with computers including an ERP system and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Use basic Hand, battery, electric and pneumatic powered tools to complete assemblies.
• Use circular saws, deburring tools to complete modified assemblies (Utility and Flow Only).
• Use laser etcher, dot peen etcher and engraver to complete modified assemblies to customer specifications (Utility and Flow Only).
• Calibrate gas to test sensors (Analytical Technologies Only).
• Use basic printing programs to complete customer orders when required and adjust as needed.
• Record day-to-day customer order activity in Production system and report completed work.
