Job summary

Badger Meter Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble parts per drawings and work instructions, rotating through different assembly tasks to build reliable sensors and components.

You will use hand, electric, and pneumatic tools, maintain quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. A high school diploma and at least 3 years’ assembly experience are preferred, with ERP and Office familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3+ years in assembly/manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
• Familiar with ERP systems and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts per Work Instructions and Drawings.
• Rotate through departments to perform various tasks.
• Use hand, battery, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Calibrate gas to test sensors.
• Record activity in Production system and monitor inventory.
• Support safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives.
• Train other staff when needed.
