Job summary

Mt. Bachelor is seeking a Ski & Ride School Supervisor to lead daily operations across base areas and programs. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and performance while upholding safety and instructional standards for a large instructor team.

The role involves hands-on supervision, real-time staffing decisions, and occasional teaching to support operations during peak times. A strong focus on safety and guest service is essential.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level 1 or equivalent certification required.
• Level 2 PSIA/AASI is preferred.
• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current ski/snowboard/mountain bike certification helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Ski & Ride School operations and instructor lineups.
• Supervise 40–150 instructors and staff; schedule and coach.
• Oversee safety, guest experience, and program quality.
• Approve daily payroll, monitor inventory and staffing needs.
• Enforce safety standards and incident response.
• Teach ski or snowboard lessons as needed.
• Serve as acting department lead when manager is absent.
