Vail Resorts in Truckee, CA is seeking motivated staff for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. The role emphasizes guest service, staff development, and program implementation across all mountain teams.

You will help recruit coaches, support staff, and coordinate season-long programming with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to read/write and communicate in English.
• Minimum 2 years experience working for a Ski and Ride School.
• PSIA/AASI certification (preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Hire and recruit Coaching staff.
• Oversee SIS employee re-hire status and paperwork.
• Interview and recruit staff for All Mountain Development Team Marketing.
• Oversee customer service with phone calls/emails.
• Outreach to local schools.
• Foster leadership skills for all staff and provide trainings.
• Develop and implement season-long programming with Teams.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing for multiple teams.
