Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking a winter seasonal instructor leader in Colorado. The role includes on-hill coaching, scheduling, payroll, and performance management, with strong emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• PSIA/AASI Level 2 or higher preferred.
• Three years as a full-time instructor preferred.
• Current professional instructor certification preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including training, scheduling, payroll, and performance management.
• Maintain on-hill presence to provide instructor coaching and quality oversight.
• Promote and reinforce safety messaging for guests and employees.
• Partner with managers and teams to ensure lessons and programs are executed effectively.
• Oversee operations for daily retail lessons, seasonal programs, and specialty offerings.
• Manage resources, labor, and financial performance aligned with goals.
• Engage with guests to resolve concerns and gather feedback.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
